I'm having a serious problem with the fact that mother has changed the position of her coffee, I keep on opening the wrong cupboard...I think she will have an even bigger problem when she will discover that there is not much milk left for her when she is going to drink hers though. This is what we call a problem of the western world, meaning that it's not really a problem worth wasting energy on...

All this has giving me some inspiration for another photo shoot with my sister, who's coming home from Greece today....I have also discovered that one of my brothers might be perfect as a rockabilly...whilst the other brother is sporting a curly Tin Tin at the moment,,,could be useful too...

So you may wonder why this girl shows up on a lot of my photos lately...well she is my younger sister and perfect to use as a model....She is willing to put up with my strange and sometimes bizarre ideas that might or may not turn out well....I mean I put her in a tree with a golden tea cup and she only laughed and loved it!

Looking forward to when she moves to Gothenburg in May so we can continue to shoot all sorts!

Sofia and I made a little trip to this island earlier today....it is amazing with all the snow and ice...we slipped around the cliffs and we were mainly scared of falling and smashing our cameras rather than break a leg or fall into the sea! We finished the day with a nice cuppa hot chocolate in a cute local cafe! A superb day and all cameras and legs are in one piece!

I love this photo as it takes me back to the time when Sarah and I traveled around in Arizona, Nevada and California.....it was taken with a small compact camera so the quality etc is not great...regardless of technical issues and bladiblaaa, this photo makes me want to go back there in an instant!

Here is another one of St.Petersburg. This is taken in Michaels Garden (Mikhaylovskiy Sad) overlooking the Moyka River (reka Moyka).

It was a cold morning and the park was very peaceful. It's connected to the Russian Museum and it also leads to The Church of Our Saviour Spilled Blood (a stunning building; one of many in the city).

I don't think the artist intended the statue to promote drinking, however you do all have to agree that the sculpture does look like a giant corkscrew! Maybe he or she did try to promote the nearby Napa Valley though as this creation can be found in San Francisco, USA; close to the famous Fisherman's Wharf down by the harbor.

I never had the chance to go to Napa Valley (yet) but I can promise you that at least San Francisco is a lovely place and I strongly recommend you to go and visit the city minimum once in your life. It's a very likable and walk friendly place with loads of small restaurants, an interesting music scene and with some quirky fun street art.

(well about the walk friendly part; if you like to walk up and down hills, then it's considered walk friendly. We had just been to THE Grand Canyon a few days before hitting San Francisco so the hills seamed like no game at all in comparison, there is always a classic tram to bounce up on in case you get out of breath though).

I'm in St Petersburg, Russia..and what a city. There are so many beautiful buildings and bridges. I walked around for over 3 hours yesterday and I still have a lot more to discover. I started with the most obvious, by visiting "The Church of Our Saviour on Spilled Blood" and continued from there to the Winter Palace, Singer Building, walked past the Stroganov Palace (yes, that Storganov that came up with Beef Storganov). In this photo you can see part of The Bank Bridge, a Walking Fur, Kazan Cathedral, The Singer Building (sewing machine) and the Blood Church!
